New York Botanical Garden, Luesther T Mertz Library Restoration – Historic Major Restoration
2900 Southern Blvd, Bronx, NY – Major interior and core & shell renovations. The 94,000 sf building dates back to 1901. A full restoration program was completed which included terra-cotta façade repointing, repairs and wash down, full roof installation, and various interior project. The library houses the NYBG’s 775,000 item library collection, its 6.5 million plant specimens and a new exhibition gallery.
